Artist Of The Month For November 2020- Isabelle Pelletane

Born 1969, Isabelle Pelletane is an abstract expressionist based in Poitiers, France. Although she pursued psychology, constant travel and nature infatuated her to lift a brush and paint on the canvas. Her expressions speak a quintessential volume of vibrancy and intense action, which pulls us back to the present.

Peculiarly, her paintings define as ‘scape’ of human consciousness. The artistic expanse, which reverberates with the chatter of colors yet serene balance, compels us to hear the tacit music of her art. Each stroke is a meditative output—an intrinsic motion that manifests on canvas with integrity and unperturbed concentration.

While the surplus paint drips, the permanent blotch of paint on the canvas dwells in the sublime pool of contentment and satisfaction. Following the action panting style, just like Jackson Pollock, an American abstract expressionist, Isabella dynamically moves around the canvas to achieve the expected picture of harmonious conversation between a variety of shades.

Spontaneous in the color application, each work brings a new narrative to the viewer. Accepting the audience as part of her journey, the transparent process of Isabella style is appealing and imbued with warmth, exuberance, and contemporaneity.

The flower series by Isabella is concise, pragmatic, and beams with compassionate compositions. An affable association between impressionistic and expressionist styles charms the natural forms. However, the flowers pose as a potential realm from where Isabella energizes to reveal the murmur of within. The murmur that is filled with the ecstasy of movement, perseverance, and unknown result.

Superimposed, are these petals screaming, or are they in an amiable union? Will they suddenly flutter in the breeze or they will plunge us deeper in our conscience? These queries may titillate the audience! Nevertheless, the flowers weave a sensational hymn, eventually developing a trance-like experience.
